was able to watch the oh yeah! perf of the boys in music lovers & i must say it definitely perked me up. my tension went up, up, up as i watched it. it really felt like a concert for me. dang! i must really be addicted to their Time con already! now off to download the whole perf!
************************************************
i finished watching Iryu 2 yesterday. i just have one thing to say about it...SUGOI!!!! it was as exciting as the first one. i really loooooove this drama! i really hope there'll be more sequels to this series. my whole family was glued infront of the tv & no one wants to be bothered while watching it. in fact we ate dinner at 11pm already last night coz we wanted to finish the whole series...hehe! even my dad is addicted to it. he says it's the only japanese drama he likes to watch (though i doubt it's true coz he watches some arashi shows w/ us sometimes..hehe!)

kittaaaaaaaaaaaaa~~~~~
another version of one of my all-time fave songs!!! Can't Take My Eyes Off You!!!
cathy gave this to me coz she knows i like this song a lot (or should i say this song will have a special place in our hearts...hehe!) ...she said it was from nino's baystorm. all in all i've heard like 6 versions of this song already & it seems like i've been collecting mp3s or clips of it...hehe! unfortunately i can't upload it coz it's not an mp3 file 7 i dont have my converter here at the office >.<
demo this is another rendition that i like...it's a perf from one of our local reality-based talent show contestant. he's not goodlooking i tell you but he's really good. you should really hear his other performances..hehe! he didn't get high praises from the judges in this perf but i still liked it ^__^
i'm just wondering where this clip was from? what show was this? i think i don't have this clip yet so hopefully someone can point me to the right direction m(__)m (and is there any subbed version for this?)
arigatou!
edit: and also this clip (sho looks kakkoi playing soccer!!!)
I was already near to tears halfway through the first round. He was
doing so well (although he did miss a few points by hitting the net)!!
When he won, I cried (and wailed like a child). My classmates were all
laughing at me. Oh who cares?!
Everyone in the school theatre
cheered, even the few menacing boys who claimed to be Sony-supporters.
I guess Sony isn't feeling well today, he could've performed much
better.
半决赛也请你好好加油哦!!
here's yet another test i took: http://www.quizbox.com/personality/test103.aspx
[Part 1] Self Confidence: 67% -> You're confident.
[Part 2] Sensory Perceptions: 64% -> Somewhat sensitive to stimulation around you.
[Part 3] Body Language: 67% -> Quite good at utilizing on occasions.
[Part 4] Conversational Skills: 87% -> A real talent!
[Part 5] Empathy For Others: 77% -> Occasionally empathizes with others.
You are a typical girl, like the majority.
i like answering personality tests such as these one so i'm joining the bandwagon again. here's the result of mine:
Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.
The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.
Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.
The seriousness of your love:
You are very serious about relationships and aren't interested in wasting time with people you don't really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love.
Your views on education
You may not like to study but you have many practical ideas. You listen to your own instincts and tend to follow your heart, so you will probably end up with an unusual job.
The right job for you:
You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.
How do you view success:
Success in your career is not the most important thing in life. You are content with what you have and think that being with someone you love is more than spending all of your precious time just working.
What are you most afraid of:
You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.
Who is your true self:
You are full of energy and confidence. You are unpredictable, with moods changing as quickly as an ocean. You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
now if you're gonna ask me how accurate it is...it's pretty much close to my personality though i don't think of myself as someone who's straightforward; i used to love studying (i still do!) it's just that i feel lazy now that i'm working already; lastly, i don't think i'm full of confidence. in fact i need lots of it! haha!
I missed the Beijing Olympics Opening T.T by the time I got to my cousin's house, the athletes were already marching in.
I don't have a TV set, now you know.
Download Link, anyone?

i looooooooovvvvvvvveeeeeeeee this pv!!!!
it's a complete opposite of their Truth pv. Truth has that mysterious, dark, serious theme while this has a very light feeling in it.
the best parts about this pv:
- their solo closeups (great for making wallies...hehe!)
- sho's rap of course; he's sooooooo into it!!!!
- sho's biceps!!! good thing this was filmed before his olympic casting stint lest we wouldn't see those bulging muscles prominently
- nino's guitar...kakkoi!!!!
- sho & his hand gestures while rapping
the only thing i didn't adore about the pv is sho wearing the boots again. though i think it looked good on him this time. plus i see his armpit hair..harhar! call me weird but my sisters & i just have this habit of noticing those things...hehe! and i think his armpit hair were thicker now compared to their how's it going concert (i was laughing at how odd their armpit hairs looked like when i first saw it XD).
just because i love sho i'm keeping this for archiving purposes...
translation of his interview from Potato July 2000: http://capncosmo.livejournal.com/198709.html?#cutid1

so his parents weren't really agains him entering showbiz afterall...
and his otousan can play piano & guitar?!?!? talent & brains (and perhaps good looks?) must really run in the family ^__^
SUGOI!!!
it's the perfect word to describe last night's opening ceremony of the olympics.
i was glad our local channel aired it. i really wanted to watch it so at least i can also get a glimpse of what sho is seeing then..haha! unfortunately i didn't get to see it till the end. i got really sleepy waiting for the lighting of the torch. i didn't expect the parade of athletes from each country to be THAT long. good thing japan & my country marched a bit earlier so i was able to catch it. i fell asleep during the middle part and when i woke up the torch was already lit up...arrgghhh!
anyway, when the delegates from japan were marching, my sisters & i were shouting "bansai! bansai!" XD honestly, i've never been this excited to see another country's athletes before. but now japan & south korea has been sort of a "second country" for me...haha! my sister was even telling me she saw one of the female volleyball players sho has interviewed like it was really a big deal. seems like anything connected with arashi is a big deal for us anyway XD
but it was really thrilling to see the presentations. it was like watching arashi's concert...full of lights & effects & colorful costumes. i told my friends i think the boys may be able to pick up some ideas to do for their cons from there...haha! and during the fireworks i told my sisters i bet sho was looking up in the sky with his big eyes & his mouth hanging open while shouting "Suge!" every now & then XD
what really made me watch in awe was the part where they were forming chinese characters using little blocks that goes up & down (i think it told of the history of printing in china), the part where dancers were painting on the large scroll using their hands & feet while dancing, and the part where they formed a bird using people with glow in the dark & lighted costumes.i also liked the fireworks that formed footprints in the sky!
my friend was asking what sho would likely give the guys when he comes back. i told her i bet he's gonna buy firecrackers XD
and i think what i read from a report that the singing of the chinese nat'l anthem was really fantastic is right. you can really feel the pride & patriotism of the people.
now i can't stop listening to kaze no mukou e. i was imagining them singing it while japan delegates were parading ^__^

yosh!!!
thank gudness a miracle happened & my internet here at the office is fast already. i've already seen Truth pv!!!! at least i can make comments now w/o worrying about it being too late
i have to say the pv is mecha kakkoi!!!! very maou-like....dark & mysterious. the dance steps, the costumes, the orchestra...sugoi!!! and every solo closeup shots of the boys are kakkoi!!! (seems like "kakkoi" & "sugoi" are all i can say about this mv..haha!)
i loved the violin shots!!!! call me biased but because my aunt's a violinist by profession i simply adore it...haha! and it's nice to see them doing those hard-core Arashi dance steps.
but the pv certainly reminded me of BSB's Everybody mv & Rain's Sad Tango mv...perhaps because those also had a dark, mysterious theme & really nice dance steps.
